- Offensive Language - Players will receive
one warning from coaches or referees. The second
offense will result in ejection from the game or
practice. Two ejections during the season will
result in removal from the program.
- Fighting - Punches, take-downs, tackling,
reckless swinging of the stick or any other
aggressive attack on another player will result in
an immediate ejection from the game or practice plus
suspension from the SUBSEQUENT GAME. Two fighting
ejections during the season will result in removal
from the program.
Teams: Teams are assigned to distribute the
talent pool equally. We will do our best to adjust
rosters for convenience. Our teams will be small to
maximize playing time. It is very important that you
make every effort to attend the games. If you know you
will be absent please let the coaches know as soon as
possible so adjustments can be made. Per league rules
- THERE WILL BE NO SHARING OF PLAYERS. Games will be
played with only those listed on the team roster.
Games: Sunday afternoons anywhere from Noon
to 5pm at the Blue Creek Rec Area (Whitehouse) or
Woodland Park (Perrysburg) on alternating Sundays from
April 14 thru June 2
Practice: Teams will generally practice 2
times per week usually Monday through Thursday from
6pm to 7:30pm. All practices will be held at the Blue
Creek Rec Area. Optional Saturday scrimmages might be
available. Players and Coaches using the games fields
for practicing (without prior approval from the Youth
Foundation) will be removed from the program!
ABSOLUTELY NO PRACTICING ON THE GAME FIELDS.
Equipment: Mandatory for each practice and
game the boys must wear a helmet, mouth guard, cup,
gloves, shoulder pads, and elbow pads.
Start Times: Please be aware that we need to
have the boys DRESSED and READY to play at the
designated start times. A 6pm start time does not mean
to show up at 6pm and then get dressed. Please have
them ready to start play at the proper time!
Water bottles: Water is mandatory for all
games and practices. Please try to use reusable water
bottles(bottles with straws are best when wearing
helmets). If you need to use disposable bottles please
make sure your boys are disposing of them properly.
Leaving them on the fields is not acceptable and will
not be tolerated.
Coaches: We are desperately in need of 1st,
2nd, and 3rd grade parents to help coach. If we don’t
get at least 6 head coach volunteers for next
year, we will have to cancel those grade divisions. No
lacrosse experience is necessary. For those
interested, AWYLAX will reimburse the registration
fees for the US Lacrosse National Convention. If you
